How to add the sound, step by step
- Download the MP4. Save the vertical video from the result page or My history.
- Start a new post. In TikTok, Reels or Shorts, upload the downloaded video.
- Open the sound picker. Tap Add sound (TikTok) or Add audio (Reels), then search BbY WOW or dime dime baby.
- Turn the original audio down. Set the video's own sound to zero and adjust where the song starts.
- Post. Add your caption and publish.
Why the video doesn't include the song
BBY WOW is a licensed song, and we don't have the rights to include it in files you download. The MP4 has a short AI-made beat so it isn't silent. Adding the official sound inside TikTok, Reels or Shorts is also how the trend normally works: the platform handles the licensing and your post links to the sound.
TikTok, Reels and Shorts: where the button is
TikTok: upload the video, and on the editing screen tap the sound option (labelled Add sound). Search BbY WOW or dime dime baby and pick the version used in the trend videos.
Instagram Reels: upload the video, tap the music option (Add audio) and search the same words.
YouTube Shorts: create a Short from your upload and use the Sounds option.
Button names and the sounds on offer change by app version and country, so if you can't find BBY WOW, search the artist and song name or copy the sound from a trend video you've seen.
Make the sound line up
Turn the original audio (the AI beat) down to zero so it doesn't fight the song. Then slide the song's start point so the hook lands where you want it. The clip is about 9 seconds, so you only need a short section of the song.
